Cook pinto beans until done.

Brown 2 lbs ground beef seasoned along with 3 heaping tablespoons flour.  Brown flour with the ground beef to prepare a brown roux.  Add enough water to the ground beef mixture to bring it to the right consistency.  This should not be too thick or too thin, but a nice consistency to pour over the Fritos.

Add chili powder and caldo to taste.  Simmer for about 15 minutes.

To build the Frito Pie:  First Fritos, then add cheese, beans, hot ground beef chili mixture, fresh chopped onions, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream.
